MayRetire MCP privacy notice
This notice describes the remote MayRetire MCP service used by AI assistants. The MayRetire web app privacy policy also describes our browser-based product. In the web app, plan calculations run locally in your browser; using the remote MCP service is a separate choice that sends plan data to our server.
Plan data sent to the service
When an assistant calls a MayRetire MCP plan tool, it sends the plan JSON and any requested changes, questions, or simulation settings to mcp.mayretire.com over HTTPS. A plan can include household ages, income, account balances, property, debts, benefits, spending, and other financial assumptions. MayRetire and its hosting provider process these inputs to calculate and return the requested result. Your AI assistant provider also processes the conversation and tool inputs and outputs under its own terms and privacy policy. MayRetire does not sell submitted plan data to advertisers.
Storage and retention
The MCP service does not retrieve plans from your MayRetire account and does not save submitted plans to a MayRetire account or durable plan database. Ordinary plan calculations are processed for the response. Longer planning jobs and their results are held in server process memory for up to 30 minutes after completion, and can be evicted sooner or lost on restart. A random job ID allows retrieval of a job result; treat that ID as private.
Hosting and security systems may process technical information such as IP address, request time, and error or access logs to operate and protect the service. Operational log retention varies by log source and is not currently subject to a single fixed time limit. Do not include payment-card details, health information, government identifiers, passwords, access tokens, or unrelated personal information in plan fields.
Anonymous pilot
The remote pilot currently requires no MayRetire sign-in and does not identify a MayRetire account for a tool call. Authentication may be introduced later. You can stop using or disconnect the plugin at any time. Do not assume the MCP service can access or delete data held by your AI assistant provider. To remove a plan from an assistant conversation, use that provider's controls. For questions or requests about MayRetire's technical logs, contact us below.
